Salah is the director of global learning at SABIC Academy and chief learning officer. Leading the transformation of learning and development at SABIC Academy since its establishment 2011, including leadership and functional development. With extensive knowledge in enterprise wide learning system design, talent development, learning organization effectiveness with proved track record of business impact over 15 years of experience. Salah led the integration of learning interventions of Global SABIC entities of more than 30 sites into a consistent unified learning system supported by global LMS. Salah and his global team are driving the new approach of experimental learning, action learning at SABIC at various functions to integrate the academy with future business challenges and strategic imperative.

At Saudi Petrochemical Company (SADAF) which is join venture between SABIC and SHELL, Salah led the transformation project of competencies, learning intervention directed to all employee with direct impact on people retention and career development.

At Jubail Industrial College, Salah was the founder of the Bachelor program of Chemical engineering technology customized to SABIC. Furthermore Salah developed and helped in designing over 45 learning interventions directed to SABIC business needs.

Growing up in UK, Salah has number of key engineering positions at BP, Unilever and GlaxoSmithKline at UK. Salah was the recipient of second best research project funded by the Engineering and physical research council EPSRC.

Salah holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Brunel University, MSc in advanced manufacturing system from Brunel University and B.Eng degree in Chemical & Biochemical engineering from University College London. Salah published over 20 research papers in refereed journals in addition to textbook chapters.
